Manner

MANNER is a decision support system that can be used to accurately predict the fertiliser nitrogen value of organic manures on a field specific basis. MANNER has been developed using results from the latest research, funded by DEFRA, on organic manure utilization on agricultural land.

The Maize Growers Association was formed in 1988 by a group of farmers who identified a need for research and development of the maize crop to improve farm business profits.

Milkbench Plus

DairyCo has launched its new benchmarking program. The project has been rolled out across England to collect physical and financial information from a large and varied group of farmers. Milkbench+ is now ready for use.  British dairy levy payers now have a tool that allows them to know the full economic cost of producing a litre of milk on their farms and compare it to the cost on other farms.
